The department for inter faith dialogue and community development, has in the past few years begun to take on an ever increasing importance, given the tragic and regretful events which unfolded on the 9/11 in America and 7/7 in England. These events have allowed some elements within both and other societies to preach intolerance and hate. Both of which have only predictable outcomes of mindless and blinkered prejudice or even worse violence. Spring Education via the department for inter faith dialogue and community development has begun to engage with those of the other great world faiths and no faith at all in a directed, purposeful and honest discussion. A discussion which has at its core a belief that all religious faith and practice is a manifestation of humanity’s expression of love and devotion to deity. In the sincere questioning of belief and practice there are no right or wrong questions, there is only a seeking of meaning and understanding. Spring Education’s department for inter faith dialogue and community development seeks to provide an effective arena where those who claim faith in the divine and those who claim none can meet in a mutually respectful, warm and welcoming environment to share the wonders of our particular faiths.

The department aims not only to bring to attention the marked differences which exist amongst the faithful; it also tries to highlight and emphasis the similarities which permeate a life lived in conformity with the wishes of the divine reality. It believes that Spiritual enrichment leading to a life of illuminated existence is not the sole claim of anyone religion; rather it is a shared goal towards which
